Rate tarts seem to be coming back stronger than ever of late. Many industry expects had predicted the end for attractive balance transfers given the introduction of transfer fees and lower end deals.

It doesn't seem to be the case however as the UK credit card market seems to be getting hotter than ever!

Sainsburys have released a great 10 months 0% purchases credit card and the long standing Post Office credit card has been offering 6 months 0% on purchases and balance transfers without a handling fee.

Now some big boys have entered the market with some whopping deals and it can only get better!

Barclaycard initially started it with a secret website offering fee-free 10 months balance transfer and Capital One introduced its 15 months 0% balance transfer credit card again!

Great news for every real rate tart!

GE Money is about about to enter the market with its Transformation Credit Card which has an APR of 12.9 and a capped balance transfer fee of £50. Its raising a few eyebrows considering GE are responsible for the high street high rate retail cards.

Competition is starting to heat up and it is great news for the future credit card deals coming onto the market.

The credit card gloves are off - officially!
