Halifax phishing email example from fraudsters

Do not respond and whatever you do - do not complete the details.

They have faked the Halifax website look to be styled exactly the same.

Fake Halifax website

No bank will ever contact you via email asking you to confirm bank details. Email just is not secure enough and can be faked much like what these fraudsters are trying to do by stealing your identity.

It is a quick and easy way to play on the vulnerable.

If you receive such an email then contact Halifax using this link and report it.

These rules apply to all banks.

NO BANK WILL EVER ASK YOU TO CONFIRM DETAILS BY EMAIL!
