Holiday Slump Points To Financial Worries
JULY 27TH, 2005
Up to 30% of Britons won't be taking a holiday break away in the sun this year according to a survey which has been conducted by More Than.
The survey was conducted from more than 1,000 adults. Of those surveyed it revealed that 26% are not confident regarding their money matters.
This has mainly come into account over the past 3 months regarding financial matters. Most said they were intending to use the money to pay off existing debt or save.
Those going away say they intend to spend less than they did last year as they were concerned about their financial future.
Interestingly 12% of those not going away say they could never afford a holiday.
