On The Turn - Housing Market
AUGUST 16TH, 2005
Reports from surveyors say that the housing market has turned a corner. This is based on statistics suggesting that for the first time since February prices falls gave eased and estate agent activity has increased.
The number of people looking to move home increased for the second month in succession. This factor together with housing price falls slowing up to its lowest rate in five months say the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
We seem to have now gotten over the roughest times in the housing market for the time being. Together with the cut in interest rates we could see a burst of confidence in the housing market as the signs of recovery in the market prove.
There has even been reports of prices rises in some regions across the country.
