An announcement of a real Money Watchdog award to a mysterious lady!
Last weekend I took my partner to the coast and parked up in a pay and display. Whilst looking for the pay and display machine which was going to charge us £1.20 for the day a lady shouted up.
She offered us her all day ticket for free as she was about to leave and didn't want us wasting £1.20 of our own on parking.
We have to say that this lady has to be awarded an honourary Money Watchdog award! Today is the first time we have awarded this honour. Unfortunately this lady has no idea she will have been awarded this.
To see people thinking about the simple things they can achieve we can help one another to save money! There are plenty of these sorts of ideas out there.
Of course you may be thinking what we did with the ticket? We certainly passed the saving on to someone else as well! Lets hope about 6 groups of people got to use the ticket that day for free parking!
